Smooth violet hair brushed off the face of Mirany as her bright violet gaze traveled over the endless fields of blood and littered bodies. Another battle had just taken place, and Mirany Akimoto was, once again, not allowed to fight in it. But for good reason, too. Just the sight of dead bodies and the scent of rotting blood made Mirany queasy, and her stomach churned as if she were about to throw up. But she didn't throw up; she had told herself a million times before she came here today that she would be strong and take in the sight of the freshly ended battle like any strong man would.
She looked around her, in case someone had followed her here. She had been forbidden millions of times to even step foot into the forest.
The battle had been a draw: both the Kinimata and the Akimoto clan had lost an equal amount of allies. She kneeled among the bodies, her eyes expressing sadness as she recognized most to all of the men that had died that day.
It had been one of the quicker battles, from dawn to mid-afternoon. She didn't know which side had intended to invade, even though she had been up at sunrise rushing out to the forest. But, like all the other times before a battle, she had been pulled back. She looked at the thin-bladed sword that lie by her side, gleaming in the late afternoon sun but still unused. She wanted to use this blade to bring victory to her clan, but she was not allowed to.
Sighing, she stood up and hummed a tune that had lulled her to sleep as a child. It was a slighty slow, melancholic tune that she sang in a wonderful voice in an attempt to bring peace to the souls that flooded the forest. They were everywhere, she could tell, and she wanted to help them as much as she could.

The winds carried the whisper of a tune through the trees and graced upon D'mitri's ears. His eyelids slowly pry open as the radiance of the mid-afternoon Sun seeped between the leaves.
He brought himself to his feet and brushed off the dust on his leather armor.
Once again he closed his eyes and listened to the sad song.
Meaningless deaths as always. D'mitri thought to himself. But still... May their souls find a calm path to Heaven.
He departs to the battlefield to see if anyone was lucky enough to survive.

Still humming to sad tune, Mirany abruptly stopped and looked up. She heard the fallen leaves on the ground rustle, and her head looked around in all directions, hoping she wouldn't get caught here. But she also hoped it wasn't someone from the Kinamita clan. That would bad. Emerging from the trees to the side, she saw a young man a few years older than her come out through them. She recognized him; she could recognize everyone in the clan; so she did not lift her sword. But she didn't say anything either, because he might have been sent to look for her.

D'mitri stepped into the blood-stained ground and surveyed the area. In his head he counted the casualties.
The numbers peaked around two-hundred dead. Some fallen warriors were injured and needed treatment.
He turned around to exit the forest when something caught his eye. With a slight glance to his side, he saw a young girl with violet hair. Everyone knew her, the heir of Akimoto Clan. D'mitri stared at her for two seconds before turning back and departed the forest to retrieve a medical squad to heal the wounded.

Walks up and stands beside Mirany, then looks down at her and smiles. "You know, you really shouldn't be out here. But that's all right. I won't tell father." Turns and frowns as he gazes out across the battlefield. "It's terrible that so many of our fellow clan members had to die in this senseless battle. They were on their way back to the village when the kinamita clan ambushed them. If i had arrived earlier, more of them might have survived." Turns back and looks at Mirany. "We should go back now. I know how death upsets you. "

Surprised at the voice, Mirany gasped and looked up, afraid she might have been caught. But it was only her brother. As he talked, her gaze looked over the expanse of the battle field. Her eyes downcast, she wondered why they had even been fighting for so many years. So many lives... She glanced to her side where the sword was still lying. If I was allowed to fight... this might have been different, she thought to herself. It was true; she had skill when it came to fighting with a sword. But her sword still lie by her side, unused, untainted, and unnecessary. She looked up at him when he was done talking, and said, "No... I want to stay here and help the wounded as much as I can."

Aiko watched the three Akimoto Clan members talk from afar. She was hidden behind a tree a a few yards away. She looked at the ground and all of the blood and dead bodies on the battlefield. Missed another battle, eh? The outcome would've been different if I fought. But, of course, I was in a council with the Clan elders. Why did that meeting have to be today of all days. I wonder what started the fight this time.

Foot steps echo in the woods and smoke appeared outside the forest. Chaos was walking through the forest and saw some of his clan members talking. He didn't want any conversation so he walked by. Chaos then sensed a fourth presence, but ignored it also so he won't waste time on a task he has to do. Before he left, he stopped to tell his clan members something. "its best if u don't go over to the north from here...." he said. Chaos then continued walking and vanished in a black flame.

Aneko dashed threw the trees and stopped for a moment and gazed upon the site. A wave of dired blood hit her almost knocking out her sensitive nose. Holding it she wondered if her leader was here, in the mound of the dead. She spied over the grounds seeing 4 people inthe distances the the fifth one only a few trees away. Soon the fifth presence vanished. Aneko bowed praying for the dead as she made her way up into the skies as she spread her black feathered wings and flew towards the Kinashita lands. "Let my body become the kamikaze" She muttered feeling the wind ruffle threw her hair.

Suddenly appears again leaning on a tree. More smoke appeared in the north part of the forest and Chaos was covered in blood. "Also don't go to the north....unless u want to see a thousand dead burnt soldiers in a scar of burnt forest...." said Chaos to his clan members, "so how did you guys do?..."he asked just for the heck of it. Chaos sensed second presence hiding in the dark, but didn't care to check. He unsheathed his katana and started licking off the blood on it as the night grew longer. When he finished he sheathed his blade back and took out his sickle and scythe and cleaned it.

Aneko flew back to the battle grounds and hour later. Swooping down she started to reach out, seeing if her leader was out here. She landed gently and began to silently scavenger the area. "Where is Aiko-sama.....She should be back at the estate..." She muttered. A wave of dried blood hit her nose as she fell down and held it. "Ugh...this stench..." She pulled out a black bandana and tied it around her face, lessening the stregth. Slowly getting up, she jumped and hovered over the 6th lowest tree branch, then land. The sapphire eyed girl sat agaist the tree trunk and took out a bowl of water. It turned blackand a projection of the Akimoto members appeared.

Chaos was right behind Aneko on the same tree. He then vanished and reappeared over her in a tree branch. "you shouldn't be in an area where your enemy is close by..." said Chaos to Aneko. He then placed his hand over her mouth to not let her say anything or the others will hear. "run now...i will distract them, but never show yourself in front of them...or you will die..." said Chaos as he plucked a piece of hair from her head. Without her noticing he planted a tracking chip on her just in case his clan will charge him off treason, then he made a shadow clone of Aneko and killed it. "guess we have a problem now..." mentioned Chaos as he held the dead corpse in front of his clan members, "we should leave now before more appear..."

Aneko stayed silent as she slowly tipped the bowl of water over, letting the black liquid burn the bark of the trunk. She jumped down but wondered why the man helped her, expiecally, whlie she was held silent, she saw the sign of Akimoto Clan on his shirt. She felt something heavy on her body. She found the chip and pinned it to a tree.
"I guess you still can't trust the clan who rules over infernos and earthquakes." She muttered, slightly disappointed. Atleast thre should be one member of that insane clan that understands this fued is useless as a 2 legged horse. She felt the air and saw her leader in the distance. Gliding threw the branches, she arrived before her.

D'mitri wandered back into the forest. The Medical Team said they would be at the battlesite in a couple minutes. I guess my job here is done. Instead of returning to where the others were, he began to meander throughout the forest lost in his own thoughts.
"I was the most unfortunate. I knew that there was no exit out of this maze.
Then, he was the next unfortunate. He did not know that there was no exit out of this maze.
But all the rest weren't so unfortunate. They didn't know that they were in the maze in the first place.", he recited to himself.

"Aneko-san! I was wondering where you were. I was kinda worried, but it looks like your fine." Aiko smiled at the girl standing before her. "What are you doing out here? Observing the dead bodies? And of course this battle had to happen while I was at a meeting. The turnout would have been better if I fought in it."
